On 25-26 July, Aurum, an ex-factory founded by the Pomilio family in the heart of Pineta Dannunziana in Pescara, Italy, will host Ultra European Network Partners from around the globe. It will be the 4th edition of the gathering that has proved so successful in bringing together international communication professionals.

This year, the conference will concentrate on human and artificial intelligence and the ways they interact leading to a new communication acumen that has to be understood and implemented in strategies. A dedicated masterclass will be carried out on the first day of the summit with Stephanie Dinkins, a transmedia artist based in New York, as the key speaker. The second day will focus on the Network. It will be an occasion to elaborate on the UEN’s state of play discussing the network’s prospects and developments. As always, there’ll be plenty of time for meeting new colleagues and catching up with the old ones. A welcome lunch and “Italian Aperitivo” will provide a good networking opportunity in this respect.

Last year’s summit which revolved around disinformation in the modern digital communication landscape, attracted professionals from 26 countries on 4 continents and saw comprehensive contributions from prominent speakers like Miguel Maduro, Chair of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO), Walter Quattrociocchi, a scholar and the head of the Center of Data Science and Complexity for Society (CDCS), and a data journalist, David McCandless.
